The alternativ CV
I was born in Norway on a dark and cold January night.
I was my mother's firstborn and her mother's first grandchild.
In the beginning I thought I was a princess and the center of the world.
Then I became an unobtrusive little Norwegian girl living in Norway.
Then I was a timid, anxious little Norwegian girl living and going to school in Switzerland.
Then I became an ungrateful teenage girl living and going to school in Norway.
Then I was an over privileged art student studying in Norway.
Then I was an underestimated Norwegian designer working all over Europe.
Then I became a well adjusted Norwegian mother of three, living in Norway, doing design in Norway, wanting to do portraits and finally starting to do portraits.
Then I was an overachieving Norwegian mother living in Norway, teaching art at a Montessori school, doing design-work and painting portraits.
Then I became a harmonious Norwegian mother living in France, not teaching, working a bit as a designer and doing more portraits – painted, drawn, printed, collaged, and recycled.
Now I am an impatient Norwegian artist/designer in France finally showing my work on this blog (still a mother and wife, though).
